SoLA Directors hosted meetings in Sydney and Melbourne to help members connect, discuss projects and passions, and help us work out how we can make SoLA work better for us all. In Sydney, about 30 people discussed what they would like to do for 2006 and how SoLA might help. Some of the projects were:

ANZSS Annual Conference - a conference of systems thinkers and practitioners to be held in the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba in June this year - SoLA will be cohosting the event, which includes co-design of program, activities and more....if you would like to know more about this event, contact leecarsley@solaustralia.org

Systemic change in educational organisations - an initiative by two SoLA members who work in the education community who want to have a look at the way in which education organisations understand and adopt change, particularly IT, and how this might be improved - contact info@solaustralia.org for more information

SoLA as a thinktank - more forums, on line and face2face, the concept of SoLA as a collaborative clearing house for innovative data capture on issues as diverse as the future of volunteering, knowledge capture from retired employees.
